CUE Returns as MLB Ballpark App Approved Vendor, Powering Fan Engagement in 2026
CUE is expanding its presence across Major League Baseball in 2026, working with over half the league and returning as an approved MLB Ballpark App vendor for a second consecutive season.
Building on that momentum, new products and capabilities are giving teams more ways to turn game day into interactive experiences fans want to join — and sponsors want to own.
After supporting clubs across the league last season, CUE continues to evolve its platform with expanded approvals and new ways for teams to activate fans throughout the game, both inside the MLB Ballpark App and beyond.
New for 2026
Two major product updates now available to MLB teams were designed to increase participation and simplify execution. Each experience is built to create branded moments that are easy to activate, join, and measure.
Bingo
CUE’s interactive bingo experience is now MLB-approved, allowing teams to deliver live gameplay tied directly to on-field moments through stat-based triggers (coming soon) or custom inputs. With custom inputs, teams can use bingo as a flexible game format to introduce new entertainment moments, for example, a music or theme-based gameplay, where fans follow along with music played or walk-up songs for a chance to get a bingo and win.
This creates repeatable engagement throughout the game while giving sponsors a consistent, branded format to drive participation and reward fans in real time.
QR-Triggered Light Shows
Teams can now launch synchronized smartphone light shows through a simple QR code scan, removing the need for SDK integration while maintaining fully synchronized production across thousands of devices featuring the phones torch but also customized on-screen content.
With fans able to join in seconds, teams have more flexibility to integrate light shows throughout the game — not just as a pregame moment, but as part of storytelling and themed experiences.
Clubs have already used this approach to bring ideas to life, from mascot-driven moments in Philadelphia to themed activations like the Diamondbacks’ Stranger Things night and large-scale crowd moments like Atlanta’s Green Out. Light shows are becoming a way to bring fans into the story, not just create a visual.
These moments give sponsors a way to align with the energy in the stadium, turning a visual into a branded experience fans actively take part in.
These updates are built to drive participation, capture first-party data, and create moments that extend beyond a single inning.
Full Suite of MLB-Approved Experiences
Together, these products form a connected system of in-game engagement:
- Light Show
- FanSee
- PostUp with AI Filters
- AR Prize Drop
- Trivia Mania
- Polling Mania
- Bingo
- Fanatic Filters
Each product is designed to support in-stadium fan engagement while creating new inventory for sponsorship and branded activations.
In addition, teams are deploying custom-built shuffles and race-style games — interactive video board animations paired with mobile gameplay. Fans use their phones to predict outcomes, such as selecting the winning racer or the final location of a hidden object, for a chance to win.
CUE designs both the on-screen animation and the mobile interaction, creating a seamless experience that drives participation at scale while giving sponsors a high-visibility moment tied directly to fan interaction.
From appearing live on the video board to catching prizes in augmented reality or competing in real-time games, fans are no longer just watching... they’re part of the game day experience!
What’s New Across the Platform
Recent updates across CUE products are giving teams more control, flexibility, and creative options:
- PostUp: New layout options and enhanced AI filters for more dynamic, branded fan content
- Polling: Updated user interface for faster setup and cleaner fan experience
- Trivia: Elimination Mode adds a new competitive format for in-game play
- FanSee: New 16:9 mode enables use as a wireless camera, plus Action Mode for faster moderation and more responsive live moments.
- Integrated Control Workflows: Light Shows, Trivia, and Polling can now be triggered through third-party control systems, enabling smoother production workflows and more consistent, synchronized visual outputs across displays.
Built for the MLB Ballpark App
As an approved MLB Ballpark App vendor, CUE enables teams to activate directly within the league’s official fan platform, while also supporting QR-based entry points that extend beyond the app when needed.
This flexibility allows teams to promote activations across social, email, and in-venue channels while maintaining a consistent, fan-first experience. It also creates a direct connection between in-stadium fan engagement and digital marketing channels, allowing teams and sponsors to extend campaigns beyond the game.
Approval within the MLB ecosystem reflects the league’s standards for security, reliability, and performance at scale.
Last season, teams used CUE to power mobile light shows, live fan cams, real-time games, and custom interactive video board experiences — delivering more fan engagement activations than any other vendor working with MLB clubs.
Looking Ahead
As teams invest more in mobile-first fan engagement and sponsor-driven experiences, participation is becoming a core part of the game day experience — not an add-on.
CUE is helping define what that looks like across Major League Baseball: interactive moments that drive real fan involvement, create measurable value for sponsors, and extend beyond the ballpark.
The 2026 season is setting a new standard for how fans experience the game and how sponsors show up in it.
