Braves x Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta: A Green Stand for Kids

The Atlanta Braves partnered with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to rally fans around a simple, powerful idea: stand up for kids across Georgia. Before the sixth inning, a pre-recorded message from Michael Harris II invited everyone at Truist Park to help “turn the park green” in a show of support.
Powered by CUE’s Light Show, every fan became part of the moment:

- A quick camera flash grabbed attention.
- A gentle vibration guided their eyes to the screen.
- An on-screen prompt instructed them to “Turn Your Screens Towards the Field.”

With the press of a single button in the control room, every participating fan's phone smoothly switched to a bright green screen displaying a Children’s Healthcare logo, instantly flooding the stadium with color.

What followed was more meaningful than just a shift in color across the park. The field, the boards, and the stands all glowed bold, bright green, symbolizing unity for children and the dedicated care teams supporting them daily.

A simple activation transformed a feel-good gesture into a stadium-wide statement that was impactful, unforgettable, and easy for everyone to be part of.

The Tech Behind the Brightness: CUE Light Show, Two Options

This activation was driven by our original app-based Light Show, our patented tech trusted by hundreds of teams and live events around the world. Because it’s embedded in an app, it performs flawlessly even when Wi-Fi or cellular service is spotty, ensuring a smooth visual experience every time.

But as technology advances, so do we. We now offer a fully browser-based Light Show that starts with a quick QR scan or a link click. No app downloads are needed, so fans can join even faster, ideal for one-off games and festivals. The web version uses much of the same high-tech behind the scenes, providing the same magical, visual experience.

Major League Approved, League-Wide Trusted

CUE is a fully approved fan engagement vendor for Major League Baseball, with products including Light Show, PostUp, FanSee, AR Prize Drop, Polling, Trivia, and Fanatic Filters, all carefully vetted by the league’s tech and security teams. Fans can take part in any activation directly through the MLB app, and sponsorship and production teams gain access to new content inventory. Meanwhile, clubs know they’re working with a partner committed to the highest standards of integrity and quality.

Our products are actively being used across the league this season, with the Seattle Mariners enhancing their “Hot Dogs from Heaven” campaign through an AR Prize Drop that gives all fans a chance to win. The Toronto Blue Jays showcase their fans with fun interactive filters. The Reds, Nationals, and Orioles partner with a global beverage brand to integrate multiple CUE tools into game-day. In Kansas City, the Royals make their fans larger than life on Crown Vision with our FanSee selfie cam, and Light Shows creating waves during key moments of games, along with the crowd favorite—firework nights.
