Midseason Highlights: The NFL Activations Fans Are Showing Up For

Halfway through the 2026 NFL season, fans have lit up a live halftime concert, caught Coke parachutes falling over the stands, called the winner of a video board race, and told an entire stadium who they fight for.

None of it was random. Every one of these moments was built to do a job: deliver a sponsor, drive fans to the team app, reward the loudest section of the building, or give a theme night its signature moment. That is the difference between engagement and interaction with a purpose.

CUE works with the Browns, Broncos, Panthers, Bengals, Saints, Eagles, Commanders, Chiefs and Buccaneers, along with many more teams across the league. Each one uses the same platform in a completely different way, shaped around its own partners, campaigns and game day plans. Here is what that looked like in the first half.

The Stadium Becomes the Stage

Cleveland Browns: One Night, Three Shows, One Live Band

The Browns turned their October 1 Thursday night game into a three-act light show.

  • Lights out, phones up: The stadium went dark as the house band played, and fans' phones carried the energy straight into player introductions.
  • A live concert, lit live: A band played a three-song halftime set with no fixed track to follow, so the lights ran in Freestyle Mode, with CUE's operator playing the crowd's phones in real time like another instrument in the band.
  • One more in the third quarter: A medley brought the bowl back to life for the second half.

Every screen flashed Browns orange and brown under the team logo, and the whole show came together in just a few days. The Browns said it looked excellent in the bowl and fans loved how easy it was to join.

Philadelphia Eagles: A Tradition in Green

The Eagles have been running CUE Light Shows for years, and it shows. The Lincoln Financial Field lights wash the stands in green while thousands of phone flashlights pulse white, a look that carries all the way to the top row. The show launches inside the Eagles app, so every light show doubles as a reason for fans to download it. On Monday Night Football, the Eagles lit up the Linc with a show set to a video honoring Jeffrey Lurie's Hall of Fame induction.

‍

Kansas City Chiefs: Red Kingdom Returns

The Chiefs opened with back-to-back primetime home games and lit up both, bringing back a fan favorite show called Red Kingdom. It capped a summer where Arrowhead also hosted World Cup matches powered by CUE, before rolling straight into football season.

Coming Soon: Light Up the Jungle

The Cincinnati Bengals are bringing Light Shows to two of their biggest home dates: the November 15 primetime matchup with Baltimore, with shows for player intros and a 4th Quarter Jungle Impact moment, and New Year's Eve, with three shows in one night.

Catch It If You Can

AR Prize Drop takes the classic parachute giveaway and opens it up to every seat in the building. Fans point their phones to the sky and catch prizes falling over the stadium. Three teams put their own spin on it.

Carolina Panthers: Coca-Cola parachutes rain down over the stands, and Coke rewards every player with a custom message, so even fans who miss walk away with something from the brand.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Chick-fil-A cow rides every parachute down, putting the sponsor inside the game itself. Each home game drops prizes fans have to get lucky to catch, and every player gets a sweepstakes entry on the way out.

Denver Broncos Football Club: The Broncos gave Prize Drop two homes on game day, running it during ThunderStorm and as its own feature, the Wings Mile High Prize Drop. One QR code keeps it live all game long, with high-value prizes mixed in to keep fans coming back.

Fans Make the Call

New Orleans Saints: When a race takes over the Superdome video board, fans pick their winner before it starts using Predictive Polling. Call it right and a Rouses Market reward lands on your phone. The Saints' Light Show carries a partner too, with SeatGeek branding on every phone during player intros and a sweepstakes waiting when the lights go down.

Cincinnati Bengals: Fans vote for the Performance of the Game and pick the next Sing-Along, putting the crowd in charge of what hits the board.

Washington Commanders: A Partner Behind Every Moment

The Commanders run one of the deepest CUE lineups in the league, and nearly every piece of it carries a sponsor.

  • PostUp, presented by Visa and Cash App, puts fan photos on the video board all game, and for Halloween, AI filters transformed those photos into festive looks before they hit the screen.
  • "I Fight For" turned PostUp's text submissions into a stadium-wide wall of the people and causes fans play for.
  • Trivia, presented by Fanatics, gives fans a head-to-head way to play along.
  • FanSee, presented by Bank of America, puts fans on the big screen live from their own phones.

‍

Interaction With a Purpose

Look across these nine teams and no two game days look alike but here is what they do share.

  • Every moment has a job. The Eagles drive app downloads. The Saints and Buccaneers deliver partner prizes. The Commanders give four different sponsors their own moment. The experience is built around the campaign, not the other way around.
  • Sponsors are part of the show. Coke, Chick-fil-A, SeatGeek, Rouses Market, Visa, Cash App, Fanatics and Bank of America are not interrupting the game. Fans are actively playing with them.
  • The same tools, completely different results. One platform lit up a live band in Cleveland, dropped Chick-fil-A cows in Tampa and built a message wall in Washington. Teams pick the products, the moments and the partners, and CUE helps make it happen.

Plan Your Second Half

Rivalry games, holiday games and playoff pushes are coming. If you have a partner to activate or a theme night that needs a signature moment, let's build it together.
