The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is more than a cricket tournament; it’s the biggest party in sport. In 2025, the CPL continues to set the standard for fan engagement by blending cricket, culture, and technology into an experience that resonates both in the Caribbean and around the world. CUE has delivered activations like smartphone-powered Light Shows, FanSee, and Fanatic Filters, turning every match into an interactive experience that connects fans across stadiums across the league.

Republic Bank’s Title Sponsorship of the Caribbean Premier League

After years of support as the Official Bank Partner, the Bank deepened its commitment in 2023 by stepping up as Title Sponsor, in addition to being the official bank partner, of the Caribbean Premier League.

To bring this vision to life, the CPL implemented CUE’s fan engagement platform to transform match days into immersive, interactive experiences.

CUE powered the league’s first-ever synchronized smartphone light shows, turning fans into part of the pre-event experience as thousands of fans lit up stadiums in unison. Interactive games and on-demand activations built directly into the CPL app kept audiences engaged long after the pitch, whether they were in the stands or watching from home.

These activations redefined what fan engagement in cricket can be. Every moment gave fans a reason to participate, connect, and share, making the match-day feel bigger than the match itself.

Growing CPL’s Mobile Fanbase and Digital Reach

A major goal for CPL was to increase app downloads and digital engagement. By integrating features like Bouncer Dash, an endless runner–style mobile game where fans dodge obstacles and collect cricket balls to climb the leaderboard, and the Light Shows directly into the CPL app, we gave fans compelling reasons to download and engage, driving both app growth and first-party data collection. This allows CPL to collect valuable data from their fans that can be used to help tailor future experiences.
