Bingo Loco Activates CUE at Their Biggest Event of the Year

Bingo Loco brought their XXL experience to the Cow Palace in San Francisco, engaging fans at scale at one of their largest shows of the year. The event marked a major moment for the brand and an ideal proving ground for PostUp and a QR code–powered Light Show driven by CUE, giving fans instant, frictionless ways to participate throughout the venue.

Turning Pre-Show Energy into Participation

Bingo Loco ran PostUp during the pre-show, a real-time content sharing experience that lets fans scan a QR code to instantly submit photos and videos to the main screen. The activation gave fans a way to participate during karaoke and get involved before the main show even began.

At the same time, fans were invited to scan a QR code to join a Light Show that transformed phones across the entire venue into synchronized lights—creating a collective, in-the-moment hype experience with no app downloads or advance setup required.

In total, more than 300 fans actively participated, each engaging for an average of 47 seconds—equivalent to roughly 235+ minutes of focused, opt-in brand attention, delivered without coupons, prizing, or giveaways.

From Cost to Revenue Conversation

PostUp was live on the main video screen for roughly four minutes, but after the event, the Bingo Loco team shared that they see clear opportunities to extend it across the entire pre-show as well as high-energy segments like their “rave round.” Even in a limited window, the activation demonstrated how easily fan attention could be redirected into active participation.

Following the event, Bingo Loco and CUE began collaborating on how fan participation can more directly support sponsor value and branded moments at future shows, shifting engagement from a line-item expense to a measurable, revenue-supporting asset.

A Scalable Model for Future Shows

The Cow Palace activation reinforced what Bingo Loco suspected: when engagement is simple, fast, and integrated into the flow of the show, fans respond. With a single QR code powering both individual submissions and a venue-wide Light Show, and with minimal lift on-site, CUE proved it can scale to massive venues while opening the door to stronger sponsor stories and new revenue opportunities.

While CUE’s technology has been widely used at sporting events around the globe, this activation highlights its ability to drive measurable fan participation quickly and easily in live entertainment environments of any size.
